Torque Converter Housing Deburring

The OLS Model 2350-FB Deburring Machine
OLS Model 2800-TDM Deburring Machine

The OLS Model 2800-TDM deburring machine removes the exit burr created during the manufacture of torque converter housings. It does so by applying a flap wheel disc, followed by a wire cup brush that is applied from below.

At the first station, the flap wheel quickly removes the primary burr. At the second, the wire brush smooths the residual burr left by the flap wheel.

This simple two-step process ensures complete deburring of the surface. Integrated dust collection keeps work environment clean and safe. This in-line, through-feed machine easily integrates into in-house conveyance systems to automate part flow.
